Jungle Laboratories Quick Dip 6-N-1 Test Strips test fresh or saltwater for Nitrate, Nitrite, Hardness, Alkalinity, pH, and now Chlorine. The Quick Dip Aquarium Multi-Test Kit also allows for 60-second testing of ammonia in new aquariums or during water changes. Testing can also be done when fish breathe rapidly, dart around, stop eating or die without visible symptoms.Details: Remove one test strip from bottle and replace cap tightly. Hold strip at end with no pads. Dip strip (all pads) into aquarium water and remove immediately. Do not shake excess water from strip. Hold strip level to allow colors to develop. At 30 seconds, compare Chlorine, pH, Alkalinity, Hardness and Nitrite pads to color chart (on bottle for freshwater, paper insert for saltwater). At 60 seconds, compare Nitrate pad to color charts provided. Record results and dispose of test strip.
